- Brown meat in bacon grease. Add in onions and carrots; saute/fry them. Add in beef broth, garlic and spices at this time. Add in 1 Tbsp. Kitchen Bouquet and red wine. Simmer for a few min and then add in the cornstarch mixed with the beef broth to thicken the stew.
- Simmer till tender adding broth if the sauce gets too thick. Serve over wide cooked noodles or possibly rice. Serves 4. Serve with steamed vegetables and warm French bread.
