Ingredientes

  • 16 ounce black-eyed peas
  • 6 c. water
  • 4 slc bacon
  • 1 Tbsp. salt
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. white wine vinegar
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp garlic salt

Direcciones

  1. Sort and wash peas; place in a large Dutch oven. Cover with water 2 inches above peas; let soak 8 hrs. Drain. Add in 6 c. water and remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil; cover, reduce heat, and simmer 1 1/2 hrs.
