Ingredientes

  • 1 1/2 pound beef liver, 1/4 to 1/2 inch thick

  1. Cut in strips, 2 to 3 inches long. Toss in lemon juice to coat. Blend 1/3 c. flour (more, if needed) with 1 tsp. salt and 1/2 tsp. pepper, and 1/2 tsp. garlic. Use this to toss liver strips in, till they are all lightly coated.
  2. Brown liver in about 3 Tbsp. oil in heavy skillet on surface unit at medium to medium-high heat. While liver is browning, prepare onions. 1/2 c. water 2 beef bouillon cubes 1 tbsp. butter
  3. Place together in 2-qt casserole. Cover. Place in microwave and cook 6-8 min till onions are crisply tender. Combine liver and onions in the casserole, or possibly does well in a Dutch oven. Add in 1 Tbsp. flour and 1/2 c. water. Bake at 325 degrees till tender, 20-25 min.
