Ingredientes

  • 3 cups chopped okra (always wash the okra, dry it and then chop)
  • 1 large onion (sliced thin and long)
  • 1 finely chopped tomato
  • pinch of asafoetida (optional)
  • 1 tbsp chopped ginger
  • 2 -3 chopped green chillies
  • 1 tsp of cumin seeds
  • 1 tsp of red chilli powder (less or more per taste)
  • 1/4 tsp garam masala
  • 3/4 tsp coriander powder
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • salt- to taste
  • 3 tbsp vegetable or cooking oil
