%20when%20I%20started%20thinking%20about%20what%20I%20would%20be%20serving,%20I%20knew%20one%20thing%20right%20away.%20I%20was%20going%20to%20have%20a%20low%20key,%20low%20stress%20level%20party%20for%20mom.%20All%20of%20his%20parties%20I've%20had%20in%20the%20past%20have%20included%20tons%20of%20food;%20and%20I%20don't%20regret%20doing%20it,%20but%20let's%20face%20it,%20there%20is%20a%20lot%20of%20work%20that%20goes%20into%20that!%20And%20this%20time,%20having%20other%20kids%20there%20besides%20my%20totally%20non%20picky%20eater,%20I%20didn't%20want%20to%20take%20the%20chance%20of%20having%20heaps%20of%20food%20leftover%20because%20none%20of%20the%20kids,%20or%20adults%20for%20that%20matter,%20ate%20it.%20So%20I%20decided%20we%20would%20have%20a%20simple%20%22snacking%22%20menu%20with%20cake,%20pretzels,%20popcorn,%20my%20Lemon%20Dill%20Snack%20Mix...and%20one%20more%20thing.%20But%20what%20would%20it%20be?%20Well,%20it%20wasn't%20until%20August%20when%20I%20asked%20fans%20on%20Facebook%20for%20their%20input%20that%20I%20got%20my%20inspiration.%20Many%20answered%20with%20trail%20mix%20or%20Chex%20Mix;%20and%20it%20reminded%20me%20I%20had%20just%20seen%20a%20commercial%20for%20the%20new%20Apple%20Cinnamon%20Chex.%20Immediately%20something%20came%20together%20in%20my%20mind%20and%20I%20knew%20I%20had%20my%20last%20snack%20for%20the%20party.%20Plus,%20I%20knew%20exactly%20what%20I%20would%20call%20it.%20It%20was%20after%20all,%20a%20party%20for%20my%20Monkey,%20so%20naming%20it%20after%20him%20was%20a%20top%20priority.%20Salty%20and%20sweet%20at%20the%20same%20time,%20this%20is%20yummy%20and%20simple%20to%20make.%20If%20you%20can%20pour%20cereal%20and%20mix,%20you%20can%20make%20this!%20My%20guests%20loved%20it.%20More%20than%20one%20told%20me%20that%20many%20times%20trail%20mixes%20are%20too%20sweet,%20and%20this%20was%20just%20the%20right%20balance%20of%20sweet%20and%20salty.%20I%20love%20my%20Monkey%20so%20much%20and%20each%20minute%20I%20put%20into%20his%20party%20was%20totally%20worth%20it%20when%20he%20said%20%22Thanks,%20Mommy.%20I%20love%20you.%22%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EMonkey%20Munch%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EIn%20a%20large%20bowl%20mix%20all%20ingredients%20well.%20Store%20in%20an%20airtight%20container.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ESnacks%20at%20Very%20Good%20Recipes%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EPin%20It%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
