Black Bean Burgers with Creamed Onions

Ingredientes

  • one 15.5 ounce canned Black Beans, drained, rinsed
  • one teaspoon onion salt
  • one teaspoon black pepper
  • one teaspoon cumin
  • one teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 cup Panko or bread crumbs
  • one large egg beaten
  • one medium size white onion, peeled, sliced
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • one tablespoon real mayonnaise
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 4 Rolls/Buns of your choice

Direcciones

  1. Spray a grill or griddle or skillet with your favorite cooking spray
  2. In a bowl add sliced white onions, sour cream, mayonnaise, black pepper and stir well to combine, place into the refrigerator until ready to top Black bean burgers
  3. In a mixing bowl add black beans and using a potato masher or sturdy spoon smashed the black beans, add onion salt through beaten egg and using clean hands mix and form 4 patties, place on grill/griddle pan or skillet and cook on medium high heat 4 minutes per side
  4. Add black bean burger to the bottom of bun (add any condiments, lettuce, tomato, mayo, mustard, ketchup) add creamy onions on top, place top bun on and enjoy!
