Black Bean Soup (Cook's Choice)

Ingredientes

  • 2 piece bacon,, minced
  • 1 x Yellow onion,, minced
  • 2 x Garlic cloves,, chopped
  • 2 x Celery stalks,, diced
  • 2 x Carrots,, diced
  • 12 ounce Uncooked black beans
  • 3 quart Water
  • 1 Tbsp. Cumin
  • 2 tsp Oregano
  • 2 x Bay leaves
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Black pepper
  • 2 Tbsp. Sherry wine
  • 3 Tbsp. Cilantro

Direcciones

  1. Show bacon sauteing in large stock pot. Add in onion, garlic, celery and carrots.
  2. Add in water, beans, cumin, oregano and bay leaves. Bring to a boil. Let simmer for 1 1/2 hrs.
  3. Stir in salt, pepper, sherry and cilantro.
  4. Remove from heat. Process with blender for 10 to 15 seconds.
