,%20Border's%20Black%20Forest%20Biscuits,%20a%20lovely%20box%20of%20Baronie%20Belgian%20chocolates,%20some%20Cairnsmhor%20Sea%20Salt%20Crackers,%20%20Cottage%20Delight%20Old%20English%20Chutney%20with%20Cider%20.%20.%20.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EEdinburg%20Preserves%20Rosemary%20Biscuits%20for%20Cheese%20&%20Pate,%20%20Cottage%20Delight%20Spicy%20Mango%20&%20Ginger%20Chutney,%20Olives-et-al%20Chilli%20Harissa%20Almonds,%20some%20lovely%20chocolate%20caramels,%20again%20from%20Baronie%20.%20.%20.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EEDinburg%20Preserves%20Quince%20Jelly%20and%20two%20lovely%20rounds%20of%20cheese%20from%20the%20Snowdonia%20Cheese%20Company,%20a%20Little%20Black%20Bomber%20Cheddar(with%20attitude)%20and%20a%20Little%20Red%20Devil%20(Red%20Leicester%20with%20Chilies%20and%20Crushed%20Pepper).%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAlso%20included%20was%20a%20bottle%20of%20Merlot%20from%20Kleine%20Zalze.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EWe%20were%20able%20to%20enjoy%20some%20of%20that%20cheese%20earlier%20this%20week%20as%20a%20traditional%20Ploughman's%20lunch%20picnic%20supper!%20%20I%20do%20so%20love%20a%20Ploughman's%20lunch/supper.%20%20They%20are%20so%20easy%20to%20throw%20together.%20%20All%20you%20need%20is%20some%20crusty%20bread,%20some%20nice%20pickle/chutney,%20a%20couple%20of%20good%20cheeses,%20some%20fruit%20(apple%20in%20this%20case),%20a%20bit%20of%20veg%20(cucumber%20and%20lettuce%20on%20this%20occasion)%20and%20some%20chunky%20bits%20of%20ham.%20%20You%20end%20up%20with%20a%20feast%20fit%20for%20a%20King%20or%20Queen!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAfterwards%20we%20feasted%20on%20some%20delicious%20Black%20Forest%20Cookies%20and%20Cream%20Sundaes!%20%20Oh%20boy%20were%20these%20really%20easy%20to%20put%20together%20and%20so%20fabulously%20scrumptious!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20quite%20simply%20crumbled%20several%20of%20those%20lovely%20chocolate%20biscuits%20that%20were%20in%20the%20hamper%20into%20the%20bottom%20of%20two%20dessert%20glasses%20.%20.%20.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Edropped%20a%20scoop%20of%20really%20good%20vanilla%20ice%20cream%20on%20top%20of%20the%20cookies%20.%20.%20.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EDrizzled%20over%20top%20some%20warmed%20cherry%20jam%20and%20a%20homemade%20chocolate%20sauce%20.%20.%20.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAnd%20topped%20them%20off%20with%20some%20squirty%20cream%20.%20.%20.%20and%20a%20couple%20of%20milk%20chocolate%20wands%20.%20.%20.%20the%20end%20result%20being%20something%20which%20was%20totally%20delicious,%20yet%20had%20taken%20me%20next%20to%20no%20time%20at%20all%20to%20put%20together.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E*Black%20Forest%20Cookies%20and%20Cream%20Sundaes*%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EServes%202%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThe%20quantities%20are%20given%20for%20two,%20but%20this%20is%20easily%20multiplied.%20%20I%20use%20the%20Scottish%20Black%20Forest%20cookies,%20but%20any%20fudgy%20chocolate%20cookie%20will%20work%20fine!%20%20This%20is%20simple%20and%20delicious%20and%20quick%20to%20make!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EFirst%20make%20your%20chocolate%20sauce.%20%20%20Heat%20the%20chocolate%20and%20cream%20in%20a%20saucepan%20over%20low%20heat,%20stirring%20constantly%20until%20smooth.%20%20%20Set%20aside%20to%20cool%20a%20bit.%20%20Crumble%20one%20cookie%20in%20the%20bottom%20of%20each%20of%20two%20dessert%20dishes.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ETop%20each%20with%20a%20large%20scoop%20of%20ice%20cream.%20%20%20Drizzle%20one%20TBS%20of%20cherry%20jam%20over%20each%20and%20half%20of%20the%20chocolate%20sauce.%20%20Top%20with%20whipped%20cream.%20Stick%20in%20a%20couple%20of%20chocolate%20wands%20and%20serve%20immediately!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20did%20something%20totally%20delish%20with%20that%20bottle%20of%20wine%20too,%20but%20I'll%20save%20that%20for%20another%20day!%20%20In%20the%20meantime%20I%20would%20like%20to%20thank%20Sophie%20along%20with%20the%20people%20from%20Hamper%20Gifts%20for%20sending%20me%20this%20lovely%20Gift%20Hamper.%20%20This%20post%20was%20written%20in%20collaboration%20with%20Hampergifts,%20makers%20of%20gift%20baskets%20and%20luxury%20Christmas%20hampers.%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
