Blackcurrant Creme Fraiche Sorbet

Ingredientes

  • 500 gm Frzn blackcurrants, (1lb 2oz)
  • 350 gm Frzn raspberries, (12oz)
  • 225 gm Sugar, (8oz)
  • 100 ml Creme fraiche, (3 1/2fl ounce)
  • 1 x Lemon

Direcciones

  1. Put the sugar into a heavy based pan with the juice of 1/2 lemon and a little water. Bring to the boil. Cold.
  2. Take the frzn fruit and put into the cooled sugar mix and bring to the boil again. Cold.
  3. Pour into an ice cream maker and add in creme fraiche and freeze for 20 min or possibly per instructions on your machine. Alternatively, pour into a carton and freeze for 1/2 hour and stir every 1/2 to break up the ice crystals.
  4. Serve with blackcurrant and raspberry coulis and extra fruit.
