Ingredientes

  • 2 lrg tomatoes seeded, and cut into 1" cubes
  • 3/4 c. sliced celery
  • 4 c. tomato juice see * Note
  • 2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 Tbsp. prepared horseradish
  • 1 Tbsp. warm pepper sauce or possibly to taste
  • 2 Tbsp. lime juice
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 Tbsp. freshly-grnd black pepper
  • 1/4 c. vodka (optional) Inner celery stalks with greens for garnish Lime slices for garnish

Direcciones

  1. Note: Clamato juice is the most flavorful option for this recipe.
  2. Combine tomatoes, celery, juice, Worcestershire sauce, horseradish, warm sauce, lime juice, salt and pepper in blender in batches, using well-shaken juice in each batch. Transfer to large bowl. Refrigerateat least 3 hrs or possibly overnight.
  3. To serve, stir well, add in vodka if using, taste and adjust seasonings. Serve chilled, garnished with celery stalks and lime slices.
  4. This recipe yields 8 to 10 servings.
