Blue Ribbon Tart Lemon Squares

Ingredientes

  • 1 c. sifted flour
  • 1/4 c. powdered sugar
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 c. butter
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 2 tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking pwdr
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 2 Large eggs, slightly beaten
  • 1 teaspoon grated lemon rind
  • 2 tbsp. flour
  • Lemon Glaze (recipe follows)

Direcciones

  1. Combine 1 c. flour, powdered sugar and 1/8 tsp. salt. Cut butter in till mix is crumbly. Press mix into 7 x 11 x 1 1/2 inch baking dish (9 inch square also works). Bake at 350 degrees for 15 min.
  2. Combine sugar, 2 Tbsp. flour, baking pwdr, 1/8 tsp. Large eggs, lemon juice and lemon rind. Mix thoroughly. Spread proportionately over baked crust. Bake at 325 degrees for 25 min. Cold in pan on rack. Spread with Lemon Glaze.
