Ingredientes

  • 1 c. sifted all-purpose flour
  • Dash salt
  • 2 T. granulated sugar
  • 2 eggs, separated
  • 2 T. brandy
  • 1 1/2 c. blueberries, rinsed and drained
  • Oil for frying
  • Powdered sugar

Direcciones

  1. Stir together flour, salt, and sugar.
  2. Beat together egg yolks, milk, and brandy. Stir in flour mixture just until flour is incorporated.
  3. Beat egg whites until stiff but not dry. Gently fold into batter. Fold in blueberries.
  4. Heat 1 in. oil in large skillet.
  5. Drop batter by spoonfuls into hot oil. Fry unril golden brown, about 1 1/2 min. on each side. Drain on paper towels.
  6. Serve warm, sprinkled with powdered sugar.
