Receta Bollywood Chicken Pizza
They wanted pizza, I wanted Indian food..here's the result
Ingredientes
- Crust
- 1 12 inch pizza Crust (home made or store bought)
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- ½ teaspoon curry powder (hot or mild)
- salt & pepper
- Chicken Topping
- 2 skinless boneless chicken breasts sliced thinly
- 1 teaspoon curry powder (hot or mild)
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- 1 clove garlic finely minced
- 1 teaspoon freshly grated ginger
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 fresh mango diced
- Sauce
- 8 ounces plain yogurt
- ½ teaspoon curry powder (hot or mild)
- 2 green onions finely minced
- Garnishes
- finely minced fresh coriander
- finely minced fresh parsley
- finely minced green onions
- hot pepper flakes
Direcciones
- Preheat oven to 450° F. Line a pizza pan or large baking sheet with parchment paper that has been trimmed so edges will not hang over the pan or touch the oven wall. Place crust on the pan, brush the crust with vegetable oil.
- Reduce oven temperature to 425° F. Keeping pizza on the pan bake for 7-8 minutes or until golden brown and crispy. Remove crust from the oven and brush with the 1 tablespoon vegetable mixed with 1/ 2 teaspoon curry powder, sprinkle with salt and freshly ground black pepper. Set aside.
- Combine chicken, curry powder, salt, garlic, ginger and vegetable oil. Stir fry on medium heat 7-10 minutes till cooked through and lightly browned. Stir in diced mango and set aside to cool.
- While chicken is cooling, stir yogurt, curry powder and green onions until smooth. Spread evenly over cooled pizza crust and top with cooled chicken and choice of garnishes.
