Bottom Round Roast

Ingredientes

  • 1 (2-3 lb.) bottom round beef roast
  • 1 tbsp. sugar
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4-5 beef bouillon cubes
  • 8 ounce. water
  • 6 ounce Coca Cola or similar cola soda.

Direcciones

  1. Wash and dry roast.
  2. Rub with sugar. Salt and pepper to taste.
  3. Place 2 pcs heavy foil in pan.
  4. Place roast on top.
  5. Pour Coke over.
  6. Place 4-5 bouillon cubes and water around roast.
  7. Place small piece foil over roast.
  8. Wrap roast loosely with 2 pcs foil.
  9. Bake at 350 degrees.
  10. Place pan with roast onto roasting pan that is filled with water. Cook 1-2 hrs per lb., turning roast in broth several times, until roast is fork tender.
