Ingredientes

  • 1 x (12-oz) package dry bow tie (farfalle) pasta
  • 1 Tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 x cloves garlic, chopped
  • 4 x precooked pesto smoked chicken and turkey sausages (Cantella brand, Reames also likes chicken artichoke sausages, or possibly use precooked sausages of your choice), thinly sliced (16 ounces)
  • 1 x 12- or possibly (14-oz) jar roasted red bell peppers, drain, reserving liquid, slice into strips Salt and fresh grnd pepper to taste Fresh grated parmesan cheese (for garnish)

Direcciones

  1. Cook pasta according to package directions.
  2. Meanwhile, heat extra virgin olive oil in a large skillet and saute/fry garlic for 1 minute.
  3. Add in sausage, red pepper strips and 1 Tbsp. liquid from red peppers (more if you prefer), stirring till heated through. Season with salt and pepper. Drain cooked pasta, toss with sausage mix and garnish with parmesan cheese.
