Ingredientes

  • 1 lb Pork
  • 2 c. Water
  • 2 x Or possibly
  • 3 x Bean curd cakes
  • 1 x Onion
  • 1 x Clove garlic
  • 1 1/2 c. Stock
  • 1 Tbsp. Sugar
  • 4 Tbsp. Soy sauce
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 2 1/2 Tbsp. Oil

Direcciones

  1. Place pork in a pan with water and bring to a boil. Cook, uncovered, 4 min, then drain, discarding liquid. Let pork cold.
  2. Meanwhile slice or possibly cube bean curd, slice onion, crush garlic. Combine stock, sugar, soy sauce and salt.
  3. Heat oil in a large heavy pan. Add in onion and garlic and brown lightly. Add in pork and brown quickly on all sides.
  4. Add in bean curd; stir-fry gently, or possibly tilt pan, to cover with warm oil.
  5. Add in stock mix and heat; then simmer, covered, till pork is tender (about 40 min).
