Brandy Baskets with Vanilla Creme

These simple but impressive brandy baskets are a creamy, luxurious, and completely indulgent treat.

Ingredientes

  • 80g butter
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup golden syrup
  • 1/2 cup plain flour
  • 2 tsp Ground Ginger
  • Vanilla Creme Filling
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 1/2 cup cream
  • 1 packet Vanilla Creme Instant Dessert
  • 1 punnet strawberries, chopped

Direcciones

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C.
  2. Place the butter, sugar and golden syrup in a small saucepan and stir over low heat until the butter has melted and sugar is dissolved. Remove from the heat and stir in the flour and Ground Ginger.
  3. Drop teaspoons of the mixture onto trays lined with baking paper; allowing room for spreading. Bake for 5 minutes or until golden brown. Cool for 1 minute. Lift from trays and immediately push down into muffin tins to form baskets. Leave to cool.
  4. Make the filling by placing the milk and cream in a bowl, sprinkle the Vanilla Crème Instant Dessert Mix over and beat for 2-3 minutes.
  5. Just before serving place the dessert mix and strawberries into the brandy baskets and serve.
