Ingredientes

  • 1/4 tsp grnd cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp grnd cloves
  • 1 tsp grnd allspice
  • 1 tsp freshly grnd nutmeg
  • 2 1/2 c. granulated sugar
  • 1 c. minced pecans
  • 3 c. lowfat milk
  • 1 c. heavy cream
  • 1 c. melted butter
  • 1/2 c. molasses
  • 4 x Large eggs, beaten
  • 1 c. plumped raisins
  • 1 Tbsp. pure vanilla extract
  • 5 c. cubed stale French bread, (5 to 6) Sweet cream

Direcciones

  1. Preheat oven to 375 F.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the first six ingredients. In a separate bowl, stir together the remaining ingredients, except the sweet cream. Add in the lowfat milk mix to the dry mix and stir till well combined.
  3. Pour the mix into a 2 1/2- to 3-qt casserole dish and bake for 35 to 45 min. Remove and let stand for 5 min. Serve hot with the sweet cream.
