.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20used%20%20ramekins%20to%20make%20individual%20servings%20of%20Bread%20Pudding.%20%20Mainly%20because%20I'm%20the%20only%20one%20in%20this%20house%20who%20eats%20bread%20pudding,%20and%20well,%20gee%20I%20don't%20need%20a%20great%20big%20dish%20of%20it%20staring%20me%20in%20the%20face,%20taunting%20me%20to%20eat%20just%20a%20little,%20c'mon,%20you%20know%20you%20want%20some,%20every%20time%20I%20walk%20past%20the%20fridge,%20or%20open%20it.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ESo,%20I%20got%20smart.%20%20I%20made%20just%20enough%20for%20me%20for%20the%20week,%20for%20breakfast.%20%20I%20figure%20it's%20got%20eggs,%20dairy,%20fruit%20and%20bread%20so%20it's%20a%20balanced%20meal.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EFirst%20off,%20I%20buttered%20the%20ramekins.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Ethen%20I%20mixed%20up%20the%20batter%20and%20added%204%20slices%20of%20cubed%20Beer%20Bread.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Elet%20them%20soak%20for%20about%2020%20minutes,%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Ethen%20added%20a%20spoonful%20to%20the%20bottom%20of%20each%20ramekin%20and%20dumped%20about%20a%20tablespoon%20of%20dried%20cranberries%20on%20top.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EFilled%20them%20up%20with%20the%20rest%20of%20the%20soaked%20bread.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Ebaked%20them%20in%20a%20pan%20that%20could%20hold%20water,%20and%20called%20it%20a%20bain%20marie.%20%20Basically,%20pour%20water%20into%20a%20pan%20that%20holds%20the%20ramekins,%20about%20half%20way%20up%20the%20outside%20of%20the%20ramekins.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20then%20put%20a%20sheet%20of%20foil%20over%20the%20top,%20baked%20them%20for%2030%20minutes,%20then%20removed%20the%20foil,%20and%20baked%20an%20additional%2015%20minutes%20or%20until%20the%20internal%20temp%20went%20to%20165%20degrees.%20%20They%20didn't%20brown%20real%20well,%20so%20I%20added%20a%20bit%20of%20butter%20to%20the%20top,%20turned%20on%20the%20broil%20and%20walked%20away%20for%20a%20couple%20of%20minutes,%20which%20was%20about%2030%20seconds%20too%20long%20as%20the%20tops%20'browned'%20a%20little%20too%20much.%20%20You%20can%20see%20the%20water%20they%20were%20sitting%20in,%20and%20yes%20it%20looks%20a%20little%20scummy,%20but%20I%20had%20dribbled%20some%20of%20the%20'batter'%20in%20the%20pan%20when%20I%20was%20filling%20the%20cups%20up.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThis%20one%20was%20the%20least%20'browned'.%20%20%20So%20I%20ate%20it%20first.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ESo%20I%20ate%20that%20one%20first.%20%20Took%20it%20out%20of%20the%20ramekin%20first%20though.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EBut%20it%20was%20a%20touch%20dry,%20and%20I%20love%20a%20sauce%20on%20my%20bread%20pudding%20anyway.%20%20So%20I%20took%20a%20couple%20tablespoons%20of%20whipping%20cream,%20added%20a%20teaspoon%20of%20sugar,%20and%20shook%20it%20up%20in%20a%20little%20jar,%20just%20so%20that%20it%20thickened%20a%20bit,%20poured%20it%20over%20the%20pudding%20and%20ate%20it.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EYou%20can%20also%20make%20a%20custard%20sauce%20to%20serve%20over%20them,%20or%20even%20sweetened%20sour%20cream.%20%20Just%20stir%20in%20a%20little%20brown%20sugar%20into%20the%20sour%20cream%20and%20pour%20over%20top.%20%20%20I%20like%20taking%20a%20teaspoon%20of%20brown%20sugar%20and%20stirring%20it%20into%20two%20tablespoons%20of%20sour%20cream.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAnd%20if%20you%20were%20one%20of%20those%20who%20made%20Creme%20Fraiche,%20you%20could%20even%20sweeten%20that%20a%20little%20and%20use%20it%20on%20top.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThere%20are%20so%20many%20possibilities%20and%20just%20a%20few%20of%20these%20to%20experiment%20on.%20%20%22WINK%22.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EIt's%20all%20good.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EBread%20Pudding%20in%20Ramekins%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EYield:%204%20Servings%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAuthor:%20Sid's%20Sea%20Palm%20Cooking%20-%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EPrep%20time:%2020%20MCook%20time:%2040%20MTotal%20time:%2060%20M%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ENot%20just%20for%20dessert,%20these%20can%20also%20be%20made%20for%20breakfast%20as%20well.%20At%20least%20in%20my%20house%20they're%20breakfast.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EIngredients:%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E1-%202%20teaspoons%20butter%20for%20topping.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EInstructions:%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EHow%20to%20cook%20Bread%20Pudding%20in%20Ramekins%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EWhisk%20the%20eggs,%20milk,%20vanilla%20and%20sugar%20together.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ECut%20the%20bread%20into%20cubes%20and%20submerge%20them%20in%20the%20egg%20batter.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ELet%20it%20sit%20for%20at%20least%2020%20minutes.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EButter%20and%20grease%204%20ramekins,%20and%20set%20into%20a%20pan%20which%20can%20hold%20at%20least%20a%201/2%20inch%20of%20water,%20along%20with%20the%20ramekins.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EHeat%20the%20oven%20to%20350%20degrees.%20%20Then%20add%20a%20spoonful%20of%20the%20bread/batter%20mixture%20to%20the%20bottom%20of%20each%20ramekin.%20%20Sprinkle%20a%20tablespoon%20of%20dried%20cranberries%20on%20top,%20then%20fill%20the%20ramekins%20with%20the%20remaining%20bread/batter%20mixture,%20evenly.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EFill%20the%20bottom%20of%20the%20pan%20with%20the%20ramekins,%20up%20to%20half%20the%20height%20of%20the%20ramekins,%20cover%20with%20foil,%20and%20place%20in%20oven.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EBake%20for%2020-25%20minutes,%20the
