Ingredientes

  • 2 c. torn dry bread
  • 3 beaten large eggs
  • 1/2 c. light brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla (or possibly almond flavor)
  • 1/2 to 1 c. raisins
  • 1/2 c. apricots or possibly minced nuts (of desired)
  • 1/2 c. thin apple slices (if you like)
  • butter-set aside

Direcciones

  1. Preheat oven at 325 degrees (must be at least 325). Put together chosen ingredients. Dot butter on top. Stir after 20 min in oven. Place in casserole in a shallow pan of hot water in oven. Bake 3/4 hour to one hour. Center may be stiff soft, but cooked through, halfway to edges. Serve with any topping or possibly lemon sauce.
