Ingredientes

  • 2 c. lukewarm water
  • 1/2 pkg. dry yeast
  • 1/4 c. sugar
  • 2 c. of Bestyet flour
  • ADDITION #2:
  • 1/2 c. lukewarm water, stir well
  • 6 c. Bestyet flour

Direcciones

  1. Put water in crock bowl and sprinkle with yeast and sugar. Let yeast rise to top. Add in flour and mix well. Let rise till double in bulk. In a cold room it can go overnight.
  2. Knead well and let rise double in bulk. Divide dough into 4 equal parts, roll ut each cookie style. Fold over once then again, now you have 4 quarters. Roll again to get all bubbles out. Cut in half and make 2 sausage style rolls.Crisscross like an X and braid together, Mrs. Baird's way. Let rise double in bulk. Bake at 375 degrees for 30-35 min. Makes 4 small loaves.
