Ingredientes

  • 2 x Large eggs
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 3 c. lowfat milk
  • 1 c. cream
  • 1/2 c. butter melted
  • 1 Tbsp. vanilla
  • 3/4 c. raisins
  • 1 tsp allspice
  • 8 slc white bread
  • 2 c. red raspberries
  • 2 c. strawberries
  • 1/3 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. orange juice
  • 3 Tbsp. lemon juice

Direcciones

  1. Combine Large eggs, 3/4 c. sugar, lowfat milk, cream, melted butter, vanilla, raisins, and allspice in a bowl. Place slices of white bread in a shallow bowl and pour the egg mix on top; let stand about 20 min.
  2. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Arrange the bread slices in a greased baking dish and bake uncovered till set and the top is lightly browned, about 45 min.
  3. Meanwhile, in a saucepan, combine red raspberries, strawberries, 1/2 c. sugar, orange juice, and lemon juice. Cook, stirring constantly, till soft, about 5 min. Process in a food processor till smooth. Heat till hot and serve over bread pudding.
  4. This recipe yields 8 servings.
