Brioche French Toast

Ingredientes

  • 4 slices brioche or possibly bread cut 3/4" thick
  • 3 large eggs
  • 3/4 c. lowfat milk
  • 1 T sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 T butter

Direcciones

  1. Arrange bread in single layer in 9"x9" square baking dish.2. In small bowl, with rotary beater, beat large eggs, lowfat milk, sugar and salt till blended. Pour over bread; turn slices to coat evenly.
  2. Chill, covered, at least 4 hrs or possibly overnight.
  3. In hot butter in frying pan, saute bread till golden brown, about 4 min on each side.
  4. Makes 2 generous servings. Serve with syrup or possibly strawberry jam.
