Broccoli Rabe With Lemon And Garlic

Ingredientes

  • 1 1/2 lb broccoli rabe stems trimmed, then coarsely minced Coarse salt to taste
  • 1/2 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
  • 3 x garlic cloves minced
  • 2 Tbsp. extra-virgin extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 x lemon zested and juiced

Direcciones

  1. Bring 1-inch of water to a boil in a deep skillet. Add in rabe, season with salt, and cover pan. Reduce heat to simmer and cook 10 min. Drain rabe.
  2. Return pan to heat and saute/fry garlic and red pepper flakes in oil over moderate heat for 1 to 2 min. Add in rabe, coat in garlic oil. Cook rabe in garlic oil for 2 min and remove from heat.
  3. Squeeze the juice of lemon over the pan and sprinkle in zest. Toss rabe to distribute lemon flavor and transfer broccoli rabe to serving dish.
  4. This recipe yields 4 servings.
