Ingredientes

  • 1 x Ham bone, or possibly ham hock
  • 2 c. Tomato juice
  • 1 x Onion, minced
  • 1 x Sweet green pepper, minced
  • 4 whl cloves
  • 28 ounce Canned baked beans
  • 19 ounce Canned kidney beans, drain
  • 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 Tbsp. Wine vinegar
  • 1 tsp Dry mustard

Direcciones

  1. If you dont have a ham bone, or possibly ham hock, a piece of smoky bacon or possibly smoked sausage will suffice.
  2. In large saucepan, combine ham bone, tomato juice, onion, green pepper and cloves. Bring to boil and simmer for 30 min. Remove bone from pan.
  3. Cut away any meat. Throw away bone and cloves. Return meat to pan along with baked beans, kidney beans, Worcestershire sauce, vinegar and mustard. Bring to boil; simmer for about 20 min or possibly till sauce is thickened. 6
