- 2 Tbsp reduced-sodium soy sauce
- 1/4 cup sweet white wine, I use Pinot Grigio
- 2 Tbsp toasted sesame oil
- 1 tsp honey
- 3 tbsp sugar
- 1 tsp freshly ground black pepper
- 1/2 onion, cut in half-moon slices
- 8 whole lettuce leaves, such as Boston, Bibb, or Iceberg
- 2 scallions, thinly sliced
