Receta Butter Bean Patties ( Pavta Patties )

Ingredientes
- 150 gm butter beans soaked overnight
- 300 gm potatoes peeled boiled and mashed
- 1 tsp turmeric pwdr
- 1 tsp chilli pwdr
- 1 tsp garam masala pwdr
- 5 Tbsp. sunflower oil
- 4 tsp flour
Direcciones
- Boil the beans in plenty of water till very soft.
- Drain.
- Knead all the ingredients (including the beans) except the flour and oil into a stiff dough.
- Make equal sized balls of this dough and flaken slightly.
- Heat the oil in a frying pan.
- Roll each patty in the flour shake off any excess and shallow fry till crisp and brown.
- This second recipe can be made from the leftovers of Poatao and butter beans with a few additions.
- Serves 4
