- MAKES 24 TO 36 COOKIES
- In a mixing bowl, cream the butter; add in the sugar gradually, beating well.
- Add in the egg yolks and rind and beat till fluffy. Stir in half the flour.
- Add in the lowfat milk and beat well, then add in the remaining flour. Knead slightly to blend.
- Notes: "Buttery lemon-flecked dough rolled in minced walnuts and topped with a piece of candied cherry. We make them with red and green decorations."
