Ingredientes

  • 1 1/3 c. water (75 to 80 degrees)
  • 3 c. white bread flour
  • 1/3 c. cracked wheat
  • 1/3 c. dry buttermilk
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 Tbsp. butter at room temperature
  • 2 tsp rapid rise yeast (or possibly 1 tbspn active dry yeast)
  • 1 Tbsp. poppy seeds

Direcciones

  1. Put all ingrediets into bread pan EXCEPT poppy seeds according to your manufacturer's directions. Select regular, rapid or possibly delayed cycle and light crust setting.
  2. After the first beep or possibly towards the end of the first knead, add in the poppy seeds, following your bread machine's directions for raisin bread. Bake and cold as directed.
  3. This recipe yields a 1 1/2 lb. loaf.
  4. Comments: Recipe not appropriate for delayed bake cycle if using fresh buttermilk.
  5. Yield: 1 loaf
