Ingredientes

  • 3/4 c. yellow cornmeal
  • 1/4 c. flour
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1/4 tsp garlic pwdr
  • 2 x catfish fillets Vegetable oil for frying Tartar sauce for serving

Direcciones

  1. In a bowl combine the cornmeal, flour, salt, cayenne pepper, and garlic pwdr. Pour mix onto a pie plate. Coat the catfish fillets with mix, shaking off excess.
  2. Fill a 12-inch skillet half full with vegetable oil and heat it to 350 degrees. Add in fillets to oil and fry till golden, about 5 to 6 min.
  3. Put the fillets on serving plates, add in a spoonful of tartar sauce, and serve.
  4. This recipe yields 2 servings.
