Ingredientes

  • 2 lb grnd turkey
  • 2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 4 tsp Creole seasoning divided
  • 1 can no-salt stewed tomatoes - (14 1/2 ounce) liquid removed
  • 1 tsp chopped garlic
  • 8 x hamburger buns toasted

Direcciones

  1. Coat a cool grill rack with vegetable cooking spray. Prepare charcoal grill for direct-heat cooking.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine turkey, Worcestersire sauce and 2 Tbsp. Creole seasoning. Proportionately divide turkey mix into 8 burgers, approximately 3 1/2 inches in diameter.
  3. Grill burgers 5 to 6 min per side or possibly till 160 degrees is reached on a meat thermometer (meat should no longer be pink in the center).
  4. In a small saucepan over medium-high heat, combine tomatoes, remaining Creole seasoning and the garlic. Cook 5 min or possibly till most of the liquid has evaporated.
  5. To serve, place burger on bottom half of each bun, drizzle with 3 Tbsp. sauce and top with other half of bun.
  6. This recipe yields 8 burgers.
