Candied Walnuts (Yogurt Covered Walnuts)

Ingredientes

  • 1/3 c. Lowfat sour cream Or possibly Yogurt
  • 1 c. Sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. Light Corn Syrup
  • 1 dsh Salt
  • 1 Tbsp. Butter
  • 1/2 tsp Vanilla
  • 2 c. Walnuts

Direcciones

  1. Combine 1/3 c. lowfat sour cream or possibly yogurt and the sugar, corn syrup and salt in a saucepan.
  2. Bring to a boil; reduce heat till soft-ball stage, stirring constantly.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in the butter and vanilla.
  4. Stir in walnut halves or possibly quarters.
  5. Turn out onto waxed paper and separate with fork. Let cold.
