Ingredientes

  • 6 med Yams or possibly sweet potatoes
  • 1/2 c. Butter
  • 3/4 c. Light brown sugar
  • 2 c. Fresh cranberries
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/8 tsp Pepper

Direcciones

  1. Wash yams or possibly potatoes; drain but don't dry. Set in slow-cooking pot.
  2. Cover and cook on low for 4 to 6 hrs (depending on size and shape). Peel and cut into quarters. Place in 2 qt casserole. In medium saucepan, heat butter; add in sugar, cranberries, salt and pepper. Cook, stirring constantly, over medium heat till cranberries pop and sugar dissolves.
  3. Pour over yams in casserole.* Cover and bake in 350 F oven for 30 min.
