- 1 box graham cracker crumbs
- 1 1/2 sticks unsalted butter, melted
- For the filling:
- 3 - 8oz pkgs of cream cheese{I used light}, room temperature
- 3 eggs
- 2 tsp vanilla
- 1 cup sugar
- 2/3 cup heavy cream
- For the topping:
- 1/2 stick unsalted butter
- 1/3 cup water
- 1/4 cup light brown sugar
- 1 - 11oz bag of caramel candies
- 6 granny smith apples, peeled & sliced
- a handful of toasted hazelnuts, chopped {optional}
