Receta Caramel Muesli Slice

- Grease a 20cm X 30cm rectangular slice pan. Place a strip of baking paper to cover the base of the pan and to extend over two opposite sides.
- Combine muesli, All-Bran, minced peanuts and saltanas in a bowl and mix well.
- In a medium pan combine butter, lowfat milk, sugar and syrup. Bring to the boil and stir constantly for 10 min or possibly till the mix thickens and turns a deep caramel colour.
- Pour caramel quickly into muesli mix and mix well.
- Press mix into prepared pan and smooth the top with a wet spatula. Sprinkle the top with crushed nuts and press down firmly.
- Cover and chill for several hrs or possibly overnight.
- Serve with afternoon tea.
