Cardamom Snow ( Elaichi China Grass )

Ingredientes

  • 10 x agaragar strips or possibly 4 Tbsp. of pwdr
  • 900 ml lowfat milk sugar
  • 1 tsp cardamom pwdr
  • 2 Tbsp. almonds minced finely

Direcciones

  1. Break up the agaragar if using strips and sprinkle into the lowfat milk.
  2. Stir well.
  3. Bring the lowfat milk to the boil in a heavy pan stirung to prevent the agaragar from sticking to the bottom.
  4. Reduce the heat and cook till it has completely dissolved.
  5. Strain to remove any lumps then add in the sugar.
  6. Stir till dissolved.
  7. Cold completely and add in the cardamom pwdr.
  8. Pour into a flat dish and chill till set.
  9. Cut into fancy shapes with different biscuit cutters.
  10. Decorate with almonds sprinkled in an attractive pattern on top.
  11. Serve cool.
  12. Cold creamy desserts; can also try your own combinations and flavourings.
  13. Serves 4
