Ingredientes

  • 1 1/4 lb beef tips cut from a chuck roast, in bite-size pcs
  • 2 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
  • 1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
  • 3 x celery stalks, minced
  • 1 med onion, minced
  • 2 x fresh jalapenos, chopped
  • 1 1/2 c. beef stock
  • 1 Tbsp. tomato paste
  • 2 tsp cumin seeds, toasted and grnd
  • 1/2 tsp chili pwdr

Direcciones

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Dust the meat cubes with the flour. Hot the oil over high heat in a heavy, ovenproof skillet or possibly Dutch oven. Brown the meat quickly. Add in the remaining ingredients and bring the guisada to a simmer on the stove. Cover the skillet or possibly Dutch oven and place it in the oven. Bake for about 2-1/2 hrs, till the meat is falling-apart tender.
  2. Serve hot.
  3. Serves 3-4 as a main dish or possibly 4-6 in tacos
