Ingredientes
- 1 1/4 lb beef tips cut from a chuck roast, in bite-size pcs
- 2 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
- 1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
- 3 x celery stalks, minced
- 1 med onion, minced
- 2 x fresh jalapenos, chopped
- 1 1/2 c. beef stock
- 1 Tbsp. tomato paste
- 2 tsp cumin seeds, toasted and grnd
- 1/2 tsp chili pwdr
Direcciones
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Dust the meat cubes with the flour. Hot the oil over high heat in a heavy, ovenproof skillet or possibly Dutch oven. Brown the meat quickly. Add in the remaining ingredients and bring the guisada to a simmer on the stove. Cover the skillet or possibly Dutch oven and place it in the oven. Bake for about 2-1/2 hrs, till the meat is falling-apart tender.
- Serve hot.
- Serves 3-4 as a main dish or possibly 4-6 in tacos
