  • 1 med carrot
  • 1 x icicle radish, same size as carrot
  • 1 c. water
  • 2 tsp vinegar
  • 2 tsp granulated sugar
  • 1 dsh salt

  1. To cut the carrot and icicle radish into flower shapes, cut several lengthwise wedges out of each of these vegetables and slice them paper thin.
  2. Combine the water, vinegar, sugar, and salt in a bowl. Put the vegetables into the marinade for 1 hour before serving. Remove from the marinade and serve.
  3. This recipe yields about 1 pint.
