,%20I%20went%20a%20bit%20crazy%20(blame%20afternoon%20wine%20consumption!)%20and%20experimented%20with%20the%20ingredients%E2%80%A6%E2%80%A6..meet%20my%20new%20breakfast%20friend%20-%20Carrot,%20parsnip%20and%20sultana%20tea-loaf!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ELightly%20toasted%20and%20buttered%20its%20rather%20delicious%20but%20even%20just%20buttered%20is%20still%20very%20tasty!%20I%20have%20been%20eagerly%20wanting%20to%20post%20this%20all%20week%20but%20have%20mysteriously%20lost%20my%20uploader%20thingymagig%20and%20had%20to%20wait%20for%20a%20new%20one!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EDoesn't%20this%20just%20say%20eat%20me?%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20love%20carrot%20cake%20and%20I%20also%20love%20bara%20brith%E2%80%A6this%20is%20a%20fusion%20of%20the%20two,%20in%20a%20very%20good%20way!%20The%20carrot%20adds%20a%20lovely%20colour%20to%20the%20loaf%20and%20along%20with%20the%20parsnip%20adds%20both%20texture%20and%20sweetness%20(without%20actually%20tasting%20of%20parsnips).%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EIn%20comparison%20to%20the%20dry-ish%20texture%20of%20Bara%20Brith,%20this%20loaf%20is%20so%20much%20more%20moister%20and%20fruity,%20I%20have%20demolished%20it%20within%20a%20few%20days%20and%20eagerly%20waiting%20to%20make%20another!%20Breakfast,%20snack,%20midnight%20feast%20-%20this%20fits%20the%20bill!%20It%20also%20smells%20great%20too!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EEasy%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EMake%20a%20well%20and%20crack%20in%20the%20egg.%20Gently%20warm%20the%20milk%20and%20add%20the%20golden%20syrup,%20mix%20well%20and%20pour%20onto%20the%20egg%20and%20dried%20ingredients,%20mix%20to%20a%20thick%20dough%20and%20spoon%20into%20a%20lined%20or%20greased%20loaf%20tin.%20Bake%20for%2045%20minutes%20or%20until%20a%20skewer%20comes%20away%20clean.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThe%20Bara%20Brith%20is%20hiding%20in%20the%20background!%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
