%20he%20had%20one%20Friday%20morning%20and%20another%20at%204:30%20a.m.%20last%20night.%20%20I%20ran%20him%20to%20the%20vet%20in%20hysterics%20on%20Friday%20and%20she%20said%20that%20there%20could%20be%20a%20variety%20of%20causes%20but%20that%20seizures%20are%20not%20all%20that%20uncommon%20in%20dogs%20his%20size%20and%20that%20she%20wasn%E2%80%99t%20too%20worried.%20%20We%20are%20waiting%20for%20some%20lab%20results%20and%20I%20will%20be%20sure%20to%20keep%20y%E2%80%99all%20updated%20as%20we%20learn%20more.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EOnce%20he%20recovers%20he%20seems%20to%20be%20in%20good%20spirits%20but%20both%20episodes%20were%20pretty%20scary%20for%20me,%20especially%20because%20Adam%20has%20been%20out-of-town.%20%20It%20is%20a%20bad%20feeling%20to%20see%20someone%20you%20love%20out%20of%20control%20and%20not%20be%20able%20to%20help.%20%20Both%20times%20I%20just%20petted%20him%20and%20gave%20him%20kisses%20until%20it%20was%20over.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20had%20my%20sights%20set%20on%20a%20hot%20yoga%20class%20this%20morning%20but%20it%20just%20didn%E2%80%99t%20feel%20right%20to%20go,%20instead%20I%20stayed%20in%20bed%20an%20hour%20longer%20with%20the%20little%20man%20in%20my%20arms.%20%20I%E2%80%99m%20glad%20to%20spend%20time%20with%20him%20but%20I%20do%20need%20to%20get%20myself%20to%20a%20class%20asap.%20%20I%20have%20been%20to%20a%20grand%20total%20of%201%20class%20during%20my%20unlimited%20two%20months;%20if%20I%20don%E2%80%99t%20get%20my%20act%20together%20over%20the%20next%20two%20weeks%20it%20will%20mean%20that%20I%20paid%20$75%20for%20a%20single%20yoga%20session,%20yikes!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EOnce%20we%20got%20up,%20the%20dog%20and%20I%20did%20have%20a%20successful%20day.%20%20Lots%20and%20lots%20of%20cleaning%20was%20done.%20%20And%20I%20made%20%20homemade%20cashew%20milk.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EHow%20Sweet%20Eats%E2%80%99%20Vanilla%20Cashew%20Milk%20was%20good,%20but%20probably%20not%20worth%20the%20time%20committment%20to%20ever%20make%20again.%20%20I%E2%80%99m%20glad%20I%20got%20to%20experience%20it%20once%20though.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20did%20a%20lot%20of%20taste%20testing%20while%20I%20made%20the%20cashew%20milk%20and%20then%20I%20took%20advantage%20of%20the%20dirtied%20blender%20and%20made%20a%20big%20smoothie%20for%20breakfast.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EMidmorning%20we%20put%20on%20our%20sweaters%20and%20took%20a%20walk.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EWebster%20is%20ultra-super-mega%20cute%20in%20his%20gray%20sweater%20and%20he%20got%20several%20compliments%20today.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ELunch%20was%20spread%20across%20some%20afternoon%20snacking.%20%20An%20apple.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAn%20Almond%20&%20Apricot%20Kind%20Bar.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EA%20Nutffles%20Red%20Velevt%20Truffle.%20%20(just%2025%20cents%20at%207-11)%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EA%20plate%20of%20baby%20carrots%20dipped%20in%20pineapple%20salsa.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAnd%20finally,%20I%20did%20some%20baking%20with%20the%20%E2%80%9Cpulp%E2%80%9D%20from%20the%20cashew%20milk.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAfter%20I%20got%20out%20all%20of%20the%20liquid,%20I%20spread%20what%20I%20could%20salvage%20on%20a%20baking%20sheet%20and%20dried%20it%20in%20the%20oven%20at%20200*%20for%2020%20minutes.%20%20Then%20I%20mixed%20up%20the%20cashew%20meal%20and%20baked%20it%20macaroon-style%20%7Bvanilla%20extract,%20egg%20white,%20sugar%7D.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThey%20were%20far%20better%20than%20I%20was%20expecting%20and%20I%20ended%20up%20having%204.%20%20I%20am%20very%20anxious%20for%20Adam%20to%20try%20them%20because%20he%20loves%20coconut%20macaroons%20and%20I%20think%20these%20were%20even%20tastier.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EBasically%20all%20I%E2%80%99ve%20done%20over%20break%20is%20sit%20on%20the%20couch%20and%20eat%20junk%20(by%20the%20way,%20my%20pants%20currently%20don%E2%80%99t%20fit:%20oh%20crap,%20oh%20crap,%20oh%20crap!)%20so%20tonight%E2%80%99s%20dinner%20felt%20extra%20fancy%20and%20healthy.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20reeeeeeeeeally%20want%20to%20cook%20dinners%20like%20a%20grown-up%20this%20semester%20so%20I%20need%20to%20get%20back%20into%20the%20habit%20before%20school%20starts%20on%20the%2021st.%20%20This%20meal%20was%20a%20good%20place%20to%20start.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ERoasted%20asparagus.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EWhite%20rice%20leftovers%20%E2%80%93%20from%20Chinese%20take-out%20I%20ordered%20on%20Friday%2070%25%20because%20I%20didn%E2%80%99t%20want%20to%20leave%20the%20dog%20to%20get%20food%20and%2030%25%20because%20I%20wanted%20someone%20to%20deliver%20diet%20soda%20to%20me%20in%20the%20apartment.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EGreen%20Curry%20Fritters%20from%20Cooking%20Light.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20was%20really%20impressed%20with%20this%20recipe;%20such%20a%20fun%20combination%20of%20flavors!%20%20I%20did%20make%20a%20few%20changes,%20all%20of%20which%20I%20suggest%20you%20follow%20my%20lead%20on%20if%20you%20make%20the%20recipe%20-%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Esized%20my%20patties%20to%20yield%2010%20instead%20of%2012%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAdam%20should%20be%20home%20in%20a%20couple%20of%20hours%20and%20tomorrow%20we%20are%20actually%20getting%20a%20visit%20from%20my%20Maryland%20aunt%20and%20one%20of%20my%20cousins!%20%20I%20haven%E2%80%99t%20seen%20that%20set%20of%20family%20in%20far%20too%20long%20and%20I%20could%20not%20be%20more%20excited.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ENow%20the%20dog%20is%20curled%20up%20at%20my%20feet%20and%20I%E2%80%99m%20about%20to%20pour%20a%20cup%20of%20tea%20and%20make%20myself%20finally%20organize%20my%20school%20materials%20from%20last%20semester.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EEveryone%20please%20give%20your%20pets%20a%20big%20smooch%20for%20me.%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
