Did you know that it’s National Dog Week? Around here, every week is dog week because our beagle mix, Nellie is the heart of our family and usually the center of attention. Nellie usually greets me in the morning by jumping on the bed and dragging her belly on my bedroom carpet for a quick morning rub down. Then she patiently waits for me to get dressed so we can go outside for a quick potty break and to check the front yard for chipmunks.
