Celery Sauce For Deep Fried Chicken

Ingredientes

  • 2 x Celery stalks
  • 3 x Scallion stalks
  • 1 Tbsp. Sherry
  • 2 Tbsp. Soy sauce
  • 2 Tbsp. Oil
  • 1 c. Stock
  • 1 Tbsp. Cornstarch
  • 3 Tbsp. Cool water

Direcciones

  1. Slice celery stalks thin. Mince scallions. Place both in a saucepan.
  2. Add in sherry, soy sauce, oil and stock; bring slowly to a boil.
  3. Add in deep-fried chicken pcs and simmer, covered, to heat through.
  4. Remove chicken, leaving liquids in pan.
  5. Meanwhile blend cornstarch and cool water to a paste; then stir in to thicken. Pour sauce over chicken and serve.
