Ingredientes

  • 1 lb Grnd beef
  • 1/2 c. Fine dry breadcrumbs
  • 1/3 c. Onion, chopped
  • 1/4 c. Lowfat milk
  • 1 x Egg, beaten
  • 1 Tbsp. Fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Black pepper
  • 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 c. Crisco vegetable shortening
  • 1 x 12oz bottle chili sauce
  • 1 x 10z jar grape jelly

Direcciones

  1. Combine the first9 ingredients, mixing well. Shape into 1" meatballs. Co in an electric skillet in warm shortening over medium heat for 10-15 min or possibly till browned. Drain on paper towels. Throw away grease.
  2. Combine chili sauce and grape jelly in a medium saucepan (or possibly same electric skillet); stir well. Add in meatballs and simmer on low for 30 min, stirring occasionally. Serve with toothpicks out of a chafing dish to keep hot.
  3. Makes about 5 dozen meatballs.
