Chakalaka Salad

Ingredientes

  • 50 ml (3T) oil
  • 2 x garlic cloves, crushed
  • 1 tsp ginger half green pepper
  • 3 x green chilies, de-seeded and minced
  • 10 ml (2 t) curry pwdr
  • 3 med carrots grated
  • 1 med cauliflower, divided into florets
  • 1 tin (410 g/14 ounce) baked beans salt and pepper to taste

Direcciones

  1. WEAR GLOVES WHILE WORKING WITH PEPPERS
  2. Heat the oil and saute/fry the onion, garlic, ginger and green pepper with chilies and curry pwdr for 5 min
  3. Add in the carrots and cauliflower. Cook gently for about 15 min or possibly till all vegetables are cooked.
  4. Add in the beans and seasoning, heat through and allow to cold. Serve cool Serves 4-6
