Ingredientes

  • 1/2 c. whipping cream
  • 1/2 c. half-and-half
  • 1/3 c. demi-sec sparkling wine (flat leftover wine is fine)
  • 2 Tbsp. honey
  • 6 ounce semisweet chocolate, cut into small chunks
  • 2 ounce bittersweet chocolate, cut into small chunks

Direcciones

  1. In a medium-heavy saucepan, heat whipping cream, half-and-half, sparkling wine and honey over moderate heat till they are just warm. Don't boil.
  2. Remove pan from heat and quickly whisk in chocolate till it is melted and smooth.
  3. Serve over vanilla or possibly strawberry ice cream, lb. cake, angel food cake or possibly berries. The sauce may be stored covered in the refrigerator for up to three weeks.
  4. Pair with demi-sec sparkling wine or possibly sparking rose.
