Chedder Cheese Casserole Bread

Ingredientes

  • 1 tsp Sugar
  • 1 c. Hot water
  • 1 pkt Dry yeast
  • 1 c. Hot lowfat milk
  • 2 tsp Butter
  • 1 x Egg beaten
  • 4 c. Flour
  • 2 c. Shredded sharp chedder
  • 1 tsp Salt

Direcciones

  1. Dissolve sugar in hot water in large mixer bowl.
  2. Sprinkle in yeast. Let stand 10 min, then stir well. Stir in hot lowfat milk, butter and beaten egg.
  3. Combine 2 c. flour, cheese and salt. Stir well to blend. Add in flour cheese mix and beat with electric mixer on medium speed for 5 min. Add in remaining flour, beating well with wooden spoon.
  4. Cover and let rise in hot place till doubled (about 45 min). Stir down and turn into two well greased 1 qt casseroles. Let rise till doubled (about 30 min). Bake at 375 degrees for 30-40 min.
  5. Remove from casseroles immediately and cold on wire racks.
  6. Makes 2 round loaves.
