Ingredientes

  • 1 1/2 c. diced process American cheese - (8 ounce)
  • 1 c. lowfat milk
  • 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 Tbsp. Gold Medal all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp grnd mustard
  • 1 1/2 c. shredded sharp Cheddar cheese - (6 ounce)
  • 1 can artichoke hearts - (14 ounce) liquid removed, minced
  • 1/4 c. minced roasted red bell peppers or possibly diced pimiento French or possibly herb bread cubes Soft breadsticks Cut-up bagels Vegetables (sliced carrots, cherry tomatoes, broccoli flowerets, cauliflowerets)

Direcciones

  1. Mix American cheese, lowfat milk, Worcestershire sauce, flour and mustard in 3-qt saucepan. Cook over medium-low heat, stirring occasionally, till cheese is melted.
  2. Stir in Cheddar cheese till melted. Stir in artichoke hearts and bell peppers.
  3. Transfer cheese mix to fondue pot. Keep hot over low flame. Serve with dippers.
  4. This recipe yields about 4 c. fondue.
