Ingredientes

  • 2 c. diced potatoes
  • 1 1/2 c. minced onions
  • 1 c. sliced or possibly diced carrots
  • 1 c. minced celery
  • 2 c. water
  • 1/4 c. butter
  • 6 T instant chicken bouillon
  • 2 c. lowfat milk
  • 1/2 c. flour
  • 3 c. (12 ounce) shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 c. beer (opt.) (1/4 c. beer is better)
  • Parsley or possibly popcorn to garnish (opt.)

Direcciones

  1. Simmer vegetables in water till tender. Beat lowfat milk and flour till smooth. Gradually blend into vegetable mix. Add in cheese, mustard and pepper. Cook till cheese melts. Makes 2 qts.
