Ingredientes
- 2 c. diced potatoes
- 1 1/2 c. minced onions
- 1 c. sliced or possibly diced carrots
- 1 c. minced celery
- 2 c. water
- 1/4 c. butter
- 6 T instant chicken bouillon
- 2 c. lowfat milk
- 1/2 c. flour
- 3 c. (12 ounce) shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 teaspoon dry mustard
- 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1/2 c. beer (opt.) (1/4 c. beer is better)
- Parsley or possibly popcorn to garnish (opt.)
Direcciones
- Simmer vegetables in water till tender. Beat lowfat milk and flour till smooth. Gradually blend into vegetable mix. Add in cheese, mustard and pepper. Cook till cheese melts. Makes 2 qts.
